- Sushmita Sen Launched ‘I Am She’ Platform To Select “Miss Universe” Participants.
The ‘I Am She’ Platform is part of Sushmita Sen’s Tantra Entertainment, which was awarded the India franchisee to select “Miss Universe” participant by the Miss Universe Organisation.
Miss Universe Organisation which conducts the pageant across 95 countries across the world every year through its global franchisees.
‘I Am She’ Platform, with a starting capital of Rs 20 crore under Tantra Entertainment, will begin its campaign to call for applicants from December 22.
The selected girls from the preliminary rounds to be finalised on February 27 at Jag Mandir, Udaipur, Rajasthan and will undergo an intensive a 25 Days brush up camp under Sushmita Sen.
The girls’ training will be shown as a reality show by two television channels. The contestant who will ultimately represent the country will be chosen among the top five finalists through public voting before April 15.
On the philosophy of the platform, Sushmita said that it was being comfortable with one’s self. ”Though not a perfect human being, I like myself as I am. We are already who we are. Even if we try to live the life of others, we cannot escape ourselves. We need to be strong and confident, especially when things are not going our way,” she added.

i have heard I AM SHE platform provides a chance to those girls who have some deformity in their
physical aspects or other to share the same platform with those girls who are physically and mentally
all fit. i met an accident few years back and thus received some scars on my body but i still dream of walking that beautiful ramp. i met MISS SEN in an award function and saw a ray of hope after meeting her. i am highly inspired by her. Do let me know if it possible for me.

Pageant Coach Ritika Ramtri of The Tiara Pageant & Model Training Studio Trained Pooja Chopra for Miss World 2010
Pooja Chopra trained by Pageant Coach Ritika Ramtri Kumar, Pageant Coach of The Tiara Pageant Training Studio won Femina Miss India World 2009 on 5th April 2009, at Mumbai. She also won Miss Body Beautiful and Miss Beautiful Smile. Before Pooja left Ritika trained her for Miss World 2009. She helped Pooja with her diction, vocabulary, pageant walk, stance, voice modulation, overall confidence and stage presence. Ritika and pageant aspirants from her school ‘The Tiara’ also helped Pooja with her cause ‘Save a Girl Child’. They put up several street plays all over the city. Her charity work for Nanhi Kali was also given an impetus by Pageant Coach Ritika Ramtri who brainstormed with Pooja to come up with several ways of generating funds.Ankita Mohapatra, also trained by Pageant Coach Ritika Ramtri Kumar of The Tiara is the winner of Gladrags Megamodel 2009. Mann Sukhija, also trained by Ritika won Mr. India Earth 2009.
