Shashi Tharoor is in the center of another Controversy.
He remarked economy class as “cattle class,” on twitter, which was strongly disapproved by Congress.

“The party strongly disapproves the statement of the minister. It is unacceptable, not respecting political or any other sensibilities,” said Congress spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan.

AICC Spokesperson Jayanti Natarajan told, “Minister’s expression may be a slang but his remark was not sensible.”

She added, “”Certainly the party does not endorse it. It is absolutely insensitive. We find it unacceptable and totally insensitive.”

When asked whether any disciplinary action will be taken against him or any clarification will be sought, she said it is for the High Command to decide.

On his page on the micro-blogging site Twitter, Tharoor was asked, “Tell us minister, next time you travel to Kerala, will it be cattle class?” He replied: “Absolutely, in cattle class out of solidarity with all our holy cows.”

Cattle class’ is an internationally popular slang for the standard class, lowest class or the Economy class.

Here is the glimpse of their tweet:

The then controversy followed recent one for staying at a five-star hotel for over three months at a time.

Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee asked Shashi and other minister SM Krishna to vacate their five-star suites.

Shashi Tharoor is the Indian Minister of State for External Affairs and a member of the Indian Parliament from the Trivandrum constituency in Kerala.

This may be referred to as a humour but the Congress party had barely understood it. Nothing less nothing more! It is quite acceptable and it has nothing to do with hurting political sensibilities or anything like that.

Controversy Result : AWAITED !
