Indian Idol 3 finalist Meiyung Chang is about to debut his acting career with Shahid Kapoor.
The movie is produced by Yash Raj Films and actor Parmeet Sethi’s first venture as a director. The movie also stars Anushka Sharma.
Chang got fame not only with his singing talent but also because of his online – offline chemistry with his co-participant Monali Thakur.
Monali rose to eminence from the Pritam Chakraborty’s ‘Zara Zara Touch Me’ in Race. So it is assumed that there was a backing hand of Pritam in Chang’s casting.
When the same was coined to Pritam, he denied saying, “Chang is a dear friend and he is seeing Monali. But I had nothing to do with it. Nor did I have any hand in his casting in Parmeet’s film. I’m only the music composer on that project.”
In all these melody Shahid will get his new mate after Vishal Singh as Meiyung Chang.
Chang work was also much appreciated as a host in Indian Premier League, South Africa.
