- Micromax Mobile Unveils Micromax X2i 3G Dual-SIM Dual-Band GSM Mobile.
Micromax Mobile Handset Manufacturer is coming up with the Latest 3G Mobile Micromax X2i is a Dual-SIM dual-band GSM mobile phone.
It features a MP3 music player, stereo FM radio, camera, speakerphone, and a microSD card slot with up to 4GB capacity.
The main features of the new Micromax X2i mobile phone are:

Micromax in News :-
• Micromax is planning to set up a design centre in Beijing soon with an investment Rs 50 crore. The company, as of now, has outsourced its manufacturing of mobile phones in China, while research and development (R&D) is done out of the centre in Gurgaon.
• “Micromax initially employ 70-80 people in the Beijing centre. This centre will reduce the development time of mobile phones and help us deliver the handsets in less time,” Micromax’s business director Vikas Jain told Financial Chronicle.
• Micromax claims to sell 500,000 mobile phones every month in tier-II and tier-III cities. Jain said the company would focus in metros this year and invest Rs 50 crore in advertising campaigns.
• Micromax, the mobile handset manufacturer, and ONGC have entered into a national agreement for sale and distribution of Micromax 3G data cards. Under this agreement, Micromax will offer 3G data cards to the employees of ONGC across India under a special scheme.
• Qualcomm is the technology enabler of these 3G data cards. While featuring a standard USB interface, these cards support Micro SD card slot for usage as pen drive too. Besides WIN200/ XP/ VISTA, it also supports MAC OS.
• The social messaging chat client from Nimbuzz will come pre-installed with the latest mobile handset that is provided by Micromax.
The latest handsets from Micromax, like the Q3, will be pre-installed with the instant messaging client provided by Nimbuzz.
With the launch of 3G and other network bandwidth intensive services in India, Micromax plans to provide value added software into their hardware to help their customers keep in touch with their business clients as well as personal contacts through the Nimbuzz mobile network.
