City Limouzines chairman S M Masood has moved the Supreme Court seeking relief.
The sessions court heard the heard the arguments for anticipatory bail and reserved its order for November 13.
The defence tried to seek anticipatory bail on the ground of the case being a civil dispute. He remarked that the payment were not initiated as their accounts had been frozen and operations stopped by the police and other authorities.
In prosecuting the argument, later commented that if this was the case then banks would have made a remark while dishonoring the cheques, while the remarks for not honouring the cheques were “insufficient funds and stop payment”
He said that this remark itself proves that company has no money in its accounts and funds have been diverted for which investigation has to be carried out and hence demanded Masood’s custody.
