Casey Johnson, the Johnson & Johnson heiress was found dead in her L.A. apartment this morning. She was 30 years old.
“I can confirm there’s been a death and the body has been identified as Casey Johnson,” Los Angeles police Sgt. Charles Halliburton confirmed to PEOPLE.
Former reality star Tila Tequila announced her engagement to the socialite on Ustream Dec. 9 and took to her Twitter account to reveal news of Casey’s death on Monday night.
“Everyone please pray 4 my Wifey Casey Johnson. She has passed away. Thank u for all ur love and support but I will be offline to be with family,” Tequila Tweeted today.
Casey Johnson’s cause of death may be from natural causes. LAPD said Casey Johnson may have died a natural death. Foul play was not suspected. However, nothing can be confirmed until the results 
of the toxicology tests are returned. That would be a 4 – 6 week wait.
Casey was the daughter of New York Jets owner Robert Wood Johnson and the heir to the Johnson and Johnson fortune. She leaves behind an adopted daughter, Ava.
