Car Bomb Blast in Baghdad 100s Died, 200s Injured.

Series car bomb explosions in Baghdad caused serious massacre to life & property. More than 100 are died and more than 200 people are injured.

The bombs went off at locations across the city and were powerful enough to shake buildings ten miles away
Baghdad security spokesman Major General Qassim al-Moussawi said, “”Civilians and security personnel have definitely been killed.”

Iraqi police put the death toll from the attacks at 112.

This is the third multi-car bomb attack in the Iraqi capital since August, all aimed at government buildings.

Baghdad hospitals report the arrival of dozens of casualties and police said a part of northern Baghdad, Al-Waziriya, has been sealed off in the hunt for the suspected ringleaders.

One blast occurred outside the labour ministry building and a second hit a nearby court complex – found near the protected Baghdad Green Zone.

The blasts came as Iraqi officials prepared to announced the date for next year’s parliamentary elections — a move the security forces worry could bring an escalation in attacks seeking to discredit the pro-Western government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
