Rajouri’s Brave girl Rukhsana Kausar, who fought with Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists and killed one in a dual combat, was appointed as a Special Police Office (SPO) in Jammu & Kashmir Police along with her brother and uncle in Jammu and Kashmir Police, a police officer said on Monday.
Rukhsana’s appointment came a few days after the militants attacked her empty house to take revenge the death of their colleague.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Rajouri, Shafkat Wattali told that Rukhsana, her brother Aijaz and her uncle Wakalat Hussain, who was injured in the militant assault, have been selected as SPOs in the police force recently and they were doing their job well.
Rukhsana Kausar, along with her 18-year-old brother Aijaz Kausar, had beaten terrorists who had barged into their house, rushed an AK 47 from one of them and fired at him, killing him on the spot. Her parents Noor Hussain and Rashida were injured in the incident.
