Bihar Bandh – RJD’s Lalu Yadav Called Bihar Bandh on 28 Jan. 2010

Rashtriya Janta Dal Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav said his party had decided to call Bihar Bandh on January 28, 2010 to protest Bihar Government’s failures in checking price-rise of essential commodities.

Tight security arrangements have been made across Bihar in view of the dawn-to-dusk state-wide bandh and blockade called by the Rashtriya Janta Dal Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav to protest the government’s alleged failure to rein in spiraling food prices and rampant corruption in the state.

LJP, CPI, CPI-M and CPI-ML (Liberation) have extended full support to the bandh.
