Cleanup, Shiney Ahuja’s wife Anupam Ahuja has refused the charge and said that her husband is innocent. At the time of the hassle she was in Delhi, but flew back to withstand her husband.

The Shiney Ahuja-Anupam Ahuja marriage has been critically in buzz and described as long-distance and unsteady. But on Monday the actor’s wife Anupama Ahuja has been a corporate executive and at present runs her own business described the charge of rape against him as “cock-and-bull story.” She denied reports that Shiny Ahuja has “confessed” to raping his maid. “It is a lie. It is utter rubbish.”

She is proving herself as an Indian Women by these words, “I stand by my man and I know that he is a wonderful person and a great father. I heard about his confession and it’s all a lie. No one was allowed to meet him yesterday, no one from the family and not even the lawyer. He told our lawyer that he has made no statement and everything that you hear is fabricated.”

She denies the rumor of hollowness in their marriage life and claims that they are living a happy married life. She says, “It has been my choice not to be in the limelight and that has set the rumours mills going. People wrote that we were separated when I was pregnant and delivering our baby. When there were reports in the papers of us not being together, I was in Mumbai, and taking the baby out every day.”

The reason is still quite ambiguous why she is withstanding her husband as now, medical reports have also proved the sexual relation and physical violation and one of the neighbour has also confirmed the distressed look of the maid while she was coming out of Ahuja’s flat.

Calling her husband an “introvert and a shy man,” Anupama said that the actor’s reputation for arrogance was unfair. “He does not know how to mince words and since I have decided not to be in the limelight, he has been made to bear the brunt. He has been suffering ever since,” she said, adding: “His father is here with me, we are all in touch with each other and are standing united in support of Shiney. He is a person with a golden heart – that’s what we say about him in the family.”

Anupama said that she wanted to convey to her husband that she loved him come what may and would stand by him. “We have worked hard to be where we are and there is definitely justice in the world. We will get justice,” she said.

Final medical reports are yet to come. Shiny is under police custody till June 18. However he is not cooperating with the investigation, further Kaushik added that “We are interrogating him about the incident. We are not satisfied with his replies.”

Earlier in an interview, when asked “What is that one thing according to you that sells in Bollywood”? He replied, “Controversy for the sake of controversy!”

Lets be optimistic in not to considering the incident as controversial stunt.
